This activity highlights the role of atypical antipsychotics in the treatment of mood and psychotic disorders. This will include pharmacology, efficacy, and side effects. The latest advances in treating all phases of these illnesses, including treatment resistant patients, side effects of psychotropics and strategies to make patients active collaborators in their care will be discussed.
