After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1.Assess the risks and benefits of opioid use during pregnancy. 2.Choose the appropriate pain management strategy for elderly patients. 3.Explain the pathophysiology of OA. 4.Distinguish OA from rheumatoid arthritis. 5.Select the appropriate treatment for OA.
