It highlights recent advances and current controversies and is chaired by the acclaimed doctor who coined the term hospitalist and helped to develop the field of hospital medicine into one of the fastest growing medical specialties. The course includes broad content in critical care, perioperative care, patient safety, and hospital neurology, cardiology, GI, hematology, nephrology, and infectious diseases.
